Football
Despite a tough season, our football team finished strong with a win against Franklin Township, highlighted by senior Jahir Dawud's impressive performance. Dawud scored six touchdowns this season and will continue his football journey at the University of Pennsylvania.
Cheerleading
This summer, NBTHS cheer attended the UCA Chestnut Lake Camp, where they made an impressive mark by earning the only First Place Superior trophy out of all the teams. The girls secured gold ribbons on both the second and third nights of camp, showing their skill and dedication. Additionally, they competed at the GMC against nine other teams, coming out with an amazing performance.
Boys Soccer
The boys Soccer team wrapped up their season with a 9-10 record, beating notable opponents East Brunswick and cross-town rival New Brunswick, went on a six-game win streak, and qualified for the state tournament for the first time in more than three years. Although their journey ended in the GMC tournament quarterfinals, the team’s momentum and determination promise even more success next season.
Girls Soccer
This season, despite the challenges, has been an unforgettable experience for the team, filled with growth, laughter, and a focus on mental toughness. The players worked hard both on and off the field, strengthening their skills and teamwork, and supporting each other through close games and setbacks. Special recognition goes to the senior class, whose resilience and dedication over the past four years have been truly inspiring, leaving a lasting impact on the team and the coach.
Girls Volleyball
This season, the girls' volleyball team had an amazing run, highlighted by a gold medal win at the Bound Brook Tournament. Anna Kalogridis and Jordan Tarabokia earned All-White Division honors for their standout performances. Despite being a new team this year, they stepped up their game, improving their plays and teamwork.
Girls Tennis
The Girls Tennis team celebrated its first win in two years, securing 3 out of 5 matches on game day. Overall, the team won 4 matches out of the 9 schools faced. The season was a strong step forward!
Cross Country
This season was big for both the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams, each winning the Blue Division Championship. Sophomore Jayden Aine dominated the Boys Championship race, finishing a full minute ahead of the competition. With the state championships coming up, both teams are hoping to earn more individual awards and break more Personal Records. There’s a lot of excitement about what they’ll achieve next!
Marching Band and Color Guard
Our high school marching band proudly placed 2nd at the state competition, also winning Best Overall Music. This achievement highlights the dedication and talent of our band members and staff. Congratulations to all for a memorable season!
