Girls Basketball

The girls’ basketball team had an exciting season with big wins over Woodbridge and Perth Amboy. Senior Vanna Abadiotakis’s favorite game was their one-score victory against Edison, where she made the game-winning steal. “The gym was electric afterward,” she said. Sydney Joseph hit clutch three-pointers to help secure the win, and the school spirit that night made the game atmosphere unforgettable. One of senior captain Sami Guadagnino's favorite moments was cheering at the GMC's, where it was incredibly rewarding for her to see everyone achieve their personal best times.

Winter Track

The winter track team had an incredible season filled with achievements and a strong team spirit. Captain Kiera Accettura said, “Some of my favorite memories were getting 2nd place in the pole vault at GMC's, winning the shuttle hurdle relay at Nationals, and just spending time with the team.” Fellow captain Amira Johnson added, “My favorite moment was when both the 4x200 and shuttle hurdle relay girls qualified for Nationals.” The team overall is full of talent and continues to strive for even more accomplishments.

Wrestling

The wrestling team had a strong season with big accomplishments. The girls took 1st place overall at the GMC tournament, earning 14 medalists, including champions Gabrielle Roberts and Rahkai Degrasse.
