After a relaxing winter break, SGO started off the first full week of 2025 with the annual Winter Pep Week. The spirit week ran from January 6 to 10 with each day being a different theme. The themes centered were to reflect the school's background and bring people together. Here are the themes that were on the Winter Pep Week:

Monday was Groufit. Students and staff wore all gray either on one part or full. Many people wore gray hoodies, jackets, and sweats.

Tuesday was Sports Day. Students wore their favorite sports-related jerseys and hats. Many people loved this theme since the majority of Gen Z is into athletics.

Wednesday was PJs Day. Students wore their favorite sleepwear to school. PJs is known to be a very common theme since some students are seen wearing them every day. Holiday PJ day was also a thing during Christmas in the Commons on December 20th.

Jahn Whitworth(12) stated "PJs are the easiest theme since its very comfortable and easy to find unlike a gray outfit"

Thursday was Class Color Day. As per usual, freshmen wore green, sophomores wore red, juniors wore blue and seniors wore black. The staff had gray as their theme.

Friday was Blue & Gold Day, respecting the colors of the Raider Bird. Most people wore their athletic uniform for those doing a winter sport or wearing in general. In the later day when the pep rally took place, seniors still hold the spirit cup.

SGO Advisor Mrs. Wright states about how these themes were chosen and its overall effect on students " We try to choose fun themes, but also easy to do, so we can have as many students as possible participate. The SGO Executive board chooses new days every Pep Week. The goal for Spirit Week is to try and bring the student body together.  We hope that creating class competitions and honoring our athletes will do that"

The Winter Pep Week went on smooth sailing mood. It will be interesting to see what themes will be introduced during Spring Pep Week. The choices are endless
