Meg Wright, a former student of North Brunswick Township High School, has been named the 2025 Teacher of the Year. She previously won the same award in 2000, and her extensive experience, along with her involvement in school activities, sets her apart from other teachers. Wright explained, “I’ve been here for over 20 years and I'm involved with many activities in the school, like clubs and organizations,” demonstrating her dedication. Her passion for the school community goes beyond the classroom, and her active participation in various events has made her a well-known figure among students and staff.
When Wright was asked about her plans after receiving the Teacher of the Year award, she humbly responded, "I don’t really plan on doing anything different; I just want to maintain the same work ethic and dedication that helped me earn the award." Students, such as Marley Blake, also see her commitment to excellence. Blake shared, “She’s a good teacher, and I like how she goes in-depth on lessons.” Wright’s ability to engage her students and make every moment count has clearly earned her the admiration and respect of her colleagues and those she teaches, solidifying her status as a truly exceptional educator.
