BCA Night

SAANVI LAMBA, Editor-in-Chief

On February 21, the Black Cultural Alliance hosted its annual BCA Night, this year with an exciting homecoming theme. The event was filled with music, dance, fashion, and food, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Many who attended said it was an amazing and fun way to celebrate Black culture, with great energy and crowd participation throughout the night.

President Naomi Dande called the event “incredible,” saying that her favorite moments were the cultural dance-off and fashion show. “The energy in the room was amazing, and it was really nice to see everyone celebrating different aspects of Black culture,” she shared. Months of planning went into making the night special, from decorating to organizing performances, and the hard work clearly paid off. Secretary Cache Lewis described the night as “fun and exhilarating” but also a challenge to pull together. She gave special thanks to the board members and club participants, recognizing their effort in making the event a success. “Every year, we set a new foundation for the next. I just hope, as the club grows, that people understand it’s more than what is presented- preparation is key,” she said.

BCA Night was a huge success, bringing people together to celebrate culture and hard work. The energy, performances, and teamwork made the event unforgettable. Each year, the Black Cultural Alliance at NBTHS continues to grow, promising even more exciting moments in the future.
